In case anyone was wondering what ever happened to him, I found some news on it tonight.

From Eurweb.com:

"Sam told me that he was positioned to release his sophomore set, “Little Black Book,” in June 2000, but the disc was shelved and never saw the light of day. The first single from the set was titled “Once My Sh..” and many fans thought the song was about his failed relationship with rapper Sole. People accused Sole of being a manipulator who took advantage of an all-around nice guy and then ditched him to date Ginuwine. Sam counters that’s not the case at all. “The song was written two years before I met her,” admitted Sam. “It wasn’t about her. That was people seeing things from the outside looking in. Sole’s a great girl, and it wasn’t her fault. She’s happily married now, and I wish her the best. She’s beautiful, and I think Ginuwine is lucky to have her!”

On the music front, several songs from “Little Black Book” ended up on other artists’ albums- Sisqo recorded “Homewrecker” and Boyz II Men recorded “Color of Love.” Sam has penned tunes for other artists including B2K, Kandi Burruss and 98 Degrees, among others. He’s been in the studio recording new music for himself, despite his previous apprehension about seeking a new record."

Well, a$suming that his new material is released, this will be #2 on my list of most anticipated albums (TQ being #1).

thats a shame.. hes got some great songs.. his voice is almost half as good as TQs... lol..

nah but seriously hes got a good voice..one of the better ones compared to todays RNB...

TQ will always be far beyond the rest.. but Sam is quite good.
