My results for my leaving cert came in today! I got 260 points!  I'm slightly disappointed, but have to be happy with it because it was the best in my cla$s! ;D |

Congrats, 260 points sounds impressive.  No doubt you out celebrating tonight Are these the Irish version of A-levels? What you planning on doing next, are you going to university or straight into a job. |

Yeah, i think they're the same as A-levels! I've applied for uni, so we'll have to wait and see what happens! But i went for an interview the other day for an apprentice engineer! So i've to wait an see what happens there too!

Thanks y'all! Usually it's out of 600! 100 points for each A1, and top six subjects count! :/ But that depends on what level you do, for ordinary level it's 60 points an A1, and i didn't do all higher level, so it was out of about 440 for me! 260 can get me in to college, so i'm happy enough!

Thanks guys! And yeah, angel, i got my offers for college yesterday and don't like them, so i'm gonna have to take that apprenticeship, if i get it! It does sound good, plus it'll get me away from home for a year!

good choice, my cousin is doing the same and is doing real well. apprenticeship is the way to go! earn packet loadsa money!
