AMEN!! And as if they deserved the win! And i do believe someone was saying that Australia was gonna be an easy game for them, bullsh!t! They were lucky as!! Well i suppose their acting was more than lucky, gotta give it to them, they can dive like no other. But play soccer/football? Nah. We matched them the entire game, he held more possession and we had only used one substitute so had Italy not dived like bit©hes, we would have FAIRLY kicked their a$s because of fitness and fresh players during extra time. I really don't think they deserved to win at all. And there is no way Italy should be in the finals, they weren't that good, Argentina would clean them up and Germany should beat them too.

Netherlands played so sh!t their last game, they needed to stop with the long air balls and start building up play in the midfield but they only did that like twice the entire game. It was a dissappointing game in that sense, Netherlands should have played better than that, i really thought they would carve up against Portugal. Wasn't to be.

Man, i couldn't believe it when i saw Vieri's header/Spain's own goal and then Zidane just outcla$s the defence and score to finish, i never saw France winning that game, but they did play well i thought. I really wanted Spain to win the lot, all my favourite teams are out, except Argentina, haaha, worse comes to worse i will go for Brazil, lol. But i really hope Argentina will win against Germany. That will be a good game.

C'mon Argentina, do it for Spain and Australia, c'mon!!

Why did Australia deserve the win? Because they had more ball posession? Come on, Italy is a defensive team. They'd never win any game if it was about ball possession, lol.

I don't think that was a penalty either, but Italy was better than Australia. I know that much. They were better organized and had better chances to score, even when they were on the field with 10 players.

Germany-Argentina is about to start in three hours. I'm really excited about that game. For the first time in history Germany actaully plays soccer that I like to watch and Argentina stole my heart in the group stage. Can't forget about Maxi Rodriguez against Mexico... what a goal!

Here's my predictions for the rest of the tournament, even though I'm always wrong ;D
Germany - Argentina (I really don't know who's stronger, but I'm cheering for Argentina, hehe.)
Italy - Ukraine (Since both teams play very defensive this will probably be a boring game, but I think Italy is stronger. Don't underestimate Ukraine though.)
England - Portugal (I just can't see Portugal win, nearly every yellow card they get means that that player will miss the next game.)
Brazil - France (So far Brazil played with the break on it, like we say in Holland. This is the first time they will have to give 100% and they will crash France.)

Semi finals:
Argentina - Italy
England - Brazil

Final:
Argentina - Brazil

as i recall one of my first posts.....i think i said keep an eye out for france...they can take anyone.

was a good game last night. france definately deserved the win. brazil just seemed to play as if they are gonna win it anyway and it would be just a matter of time. but in the end they didnt have one really good chance of scoring. i thought it was well deserved for france. to me the game seemed like zidane wanted to show ronaldinho who's the boss for one last time. he played really well but so did most of the french team.

so now its germany-italy and portugal france.

i'm gonna make the prediction that the finals is going to be germany-france.

Yeah, could happen, but i'd prefer portugal to get to the final, then i get at least 60 euro back! Haha! But Ribery is cla$s! He's kept me interested in frances matches, not henry or zidane! Like, he never stops going, he's everywhere and he has some skill, for me, france wouldn't have got this far without him!



P.S. Is it just me or is Europe the greatest continent in world football?! Like, brazil and argentina knocked out by europeans and not only is it going to be an all euro final, but it's all euro semi-finals too!

I thought Brazil would finally step its game up, but until the 85th minute they played like crap. Too late for Brazil.

For the first time in history Germany plays soccer that I like to watch, so this team got my sympathy. What a big fu©k you from Klinsmann to the German people would it be if Germany wins this tournament. He was the most hated man in Germany and look what he's doing. I got mad respect for this guy.
I'd be happy for Italy if they win. They got all that sh!t going on over at home and an ex team mate that tried to commit suicide.
If France wins that would be a great way for Zidane to end his career. He's probably one of the top five players ever.

I think France have what it takes to beat Portugal, they didnt impress that much against either Holland or yesterday against us. Portugal rely to much on midfield to score and attack, I just think that France's midfield especially Ribery, Zidane and Makelele is way better and will be able to stop Portugal attacking as much.

Germany v Italy is harder to predict. it will undoubtabaly be close. Whoever scores first will probably decide the winner. If Italy score than they have such a brilliant defensive style that Germany will find it hard to score, but if the Germans score first then if will unsettle the Italians and make them play attacking football which they are less comfortable at doing.

Agree with the Zidane comment, he's definatly one of the best footabllers ever. i didnt need yesterdays performance to tell me this, been following his games for years. Probably in the top 5 players, definatly ten, but he sure is the best player of this generation

Guess you're just saying that because you're dutch, cause if Portugal is an unsporty team then there are no words for Holland after that game. And I even like Holland a lot, but you can't blame Portugal for being better . The next game with France will probably be very hard, but we have a good team and everything can happen! We'll just have to wait and see how it goes..

(the problem with the other teams is that they underestimate us, and just realize we're good when they go home..)
