bleh, Portugal deserved the win IMO, but that doesn't make them not unsporty Figo should become actor when he stops with soccer. Tomorrow should be a good game. I really can't see any team break through the Italian defence, so my prediction is it'll either be 0-0 and penalties decide the winner or one of Italy's strikers will kick one or two balls in Germany's goal. Portugal - France will probably even be a better game. Hopefully Zidane can do again what he did against Brazil ;D

This world cup has been full of suprises, not in the underdog way either it was more like, the football giants playing crap but still making it through that got me. Of course they did pick up their game when it mattered, so it makes it alright. I have been shocked so many times, France even making it through group stages suprised the sh!t out of me let alone them beating Brazil. And they beat them well, i completely agree about Zidane, he played amazing in his last two games and he is defineatly a contender for Top 5 players of all time. Now that all my teams are out, i don't really care who wins, lol, after going for three different teams that all been knocked out one by one, im kinda drained so i'll watch but ill watch for good football rather than for my teams. Now i can be a bit more 'realistic' with my comments. As you maybe be able to tell Mauz, pa$sion and adrenaline kinda takes over when you really love a team, so my comments about the italy-australia match and other matches until now have defineate bias. The way i honestly saw that italy-australia game, it looked like we deserved the win, honest to god but that might just be pa$sion. (Wow, that was really hard to say). Anyway, France-Germany final, i really think is likely. Germany is playing good football, not that Italy isn't (except for a dive i remember that got them through, lol) but i do think if Germany keep aware of the counter-attacks, which im sure they are, they should be able to contain them. Good midfield work is gonna be necessary if Germany are to win. France has really impressed me and that is hard for me to say cause on the international scene i am not a fan of France at all. But they really have pulled it all together and created some brilliant plays and showcased plenty of individual skill. Oh yeah, i did say i hated when people a$sumed Brazil was in the final, i did say they could lose one of the games leading to the final, and they did, so to any of those people that always a$sumed it would be a Brazil-someone final, you can suck my di©k!! (That probably applies to 90-95% of 'experts' that i have heard on television. So it really isn't to anyone here.) I want to say that Portugal will get smashed by France but i think for that same reason that match will be good to watch, Portugal, with a bit of luck, may just suprise everyone. But they will have to be on top of their game and maybe a little further, like the whole 110% thing. Either way, who ever wins, Australian soccer/football should have got a major and much needed boost so its all good ;D
Oh yeah and i almost forgot, Mauz, im loving that image, that is great!! So true!!!

Huh? Portugal to win? Have you been paying attention?
It will be italy, germany or france to win purely because they are playing much better football.
Asif portugal deserve to win (I know i'm enlgish) but there standard of football is hardy good. they fall over for the slighiest touch and gangbang the ref to make decsions.
Awful

It's understandable that u don't like Portugal at all ( must be hard to be eliminated so many times ), but there's no need to say those things. Rather wait for the final the to see who's the best...

Italia is in the final... what a joke... did you see the same game as I did? I saw a game in which Italy was better than Germany and deserved the win. ;D

yeh...they did...both played like sh!t though....germany just gave it up at the end while italy stayed a bit calmer which made the difference. i'm not even sad or frustrated or anything because we played a great tournament so far. i think now i'll put my money on france for the the championship.

Portugal is the most disgusting team I've ever seen. Thank god that cheating scum is out now. The FIFA should give away awards for the most unsporty team (Portugal), the most unsporty coach (Scolari) and the most unsporty player (C. Ronaldo).

man, france-italy final...oh well, it doesn't matter to me which team wins, i don't like either. Damn it, where are all the underdogs in this tournament? Usually there are a couple in the semi-finals at least, this time it was pretty much the soccer giants of the world (except portugal, hence i would have liked it if they won)...no fun. I'll still watch it but i don't know how exciting it will be when im not going for a team and on top of that, usually the teams are playing better football as the tournament progresses until its huge climatic grand final. This year both teams kinda scraped through at the end, although that may just be because the quality of the teams in the quarters and semis cancel each other out, leaving a low scoring and sometimes, unfortuneatly a not-so-creative game. Argentina probably showed the most creativity so far and that was a game in the group stages, everyone peaked at the wrong time. I hope the final will prove me wrong.
