Italia is in the final... what a joke...  did you see the same game as I did? I saw a game in which Italy was better than Germany and deserved the win. ;D Yeah I sow the same game as u  But I don't like Italy at all... I hope France will win the cup & Portugal will beat germany |

Anyone see the news? If Italy win the world cup then they want the players accused of match fixing to get amnesty! That's bollox, they can't get away with that! Juventus to go down to Serie C if Guilty! Im pretty sure that no players have been accused of match fixing, it has been club officials who have been accused. I believe that Buffon was the only player to be questioned, and he was let off. The cteams should definatly be relegated if they are found guilty, they need deterents to stop them doing it again. It shouldnt be a problem for the players from these teams, im sure big money moves will await them. |

i wonder what was said to zidane. i guess we'll find out tomorrow. that was just stupid as hell by zidane. but i saw it coming it's an old habit of his. gets a red card every now and then for stepping over the edge. i'm not gonna say that italy didnt deserve the win but somehow i feel in my heart that they kind of cheated themselves to victory on the whole road to the finals. the germany game was good but before that it was weird. congratulations anyway. i would have liked to see france win it still but overall it was a good world cup. we had so much fun here and germany and i think that everybody loved it over here. looking forward to the italy situation and now and player movement and i am anticipating the respective seasons.

Usually there are a couple in the semi-finals at least That is so not true Korea Republic and Turkey were hardly favourites in 2002 |

As for Zidane...damn he dropped that italian player HARD!!!! I have never seen such a strong headbutt in my life. Completely dropped him, hahaha it was funny to watch, and it was probably the highlight of the match. ahahah nah it wasn't, the first two goals were pretty good, Italy's one came out of no where, completely shocked me. Did anyone else think that Bartez was having a bad day? Gotta give it to the Italians for the first half, they played some attacking football for a change and it worked out well for them (once France scored that is). I wonder how Zidane feels after making such an exit especially because not only waas it the final, it was his last game. Until that incident i thought he was looking good for MVP, but i suppose when you think about it he just had some good games im sure many other players had a blinder the whole tournament.
Oh yeah and Italians should still be investigated for match-fixing, that's bullsh!t.

Ha, zidanes last international match ended with a red card, but hopefully he's not remembered for that because he was an amazing player! Barthez is having a bad life! And it's not as if he's the only french goalkeeper! I mean, he's fu?king shocking! In the semi's he was aswell, remember ronaldos free kick! What did barthez do then? That was a simple catch and he pushes up for figo to get a free header, if portugal had of scored that he woulda been shot! Contrary to what i said last time about the italian scandal, they are not getting anmesty, nobody in the world of football would allow it, it was just a suggestion by the italian government! Thank god, because if they're guilty it just ruins the italian league, i used to love itaian football, but match fixing is wrong! |

I think Italy had the best team and they deserved to win the tournament IMO. That is so not true Korea Republic and Turkey were hardly favourites in 2002 What about the World Cups before 2002? Did anyone else think that Bartez was having a bad day? I think Barthez is overrated. He's good, but if he was from any other European country he wouldn't have been the #1 goalie. |

I heard that he said that Zidane is a terrorist and that he has no right to play in France team b/c of his Algerian background and that he called his sister a prostitute twise. But who knows...

Theres been alot of different interpretations, some about Terrorism, some about insults to his mother both of which Matterazzi denies. Zidanes agent says that Zidane will tell FIFA soon, so i guess we will find out. Still there can be no excuses for what Zizou did, Italy may still have won but with him on the field theres was always a chance for France As for the world cup, overall I think it was good, the loosing of England early on and then other big teams was a let down for me, but there was some great games and some not so great  Best player - Fabio Cannavaro Best Goal - Maxi for Argentina vs Mexico Best Game - Germany vs Italy Most Exciting Game - Got 3 : Germay vs Costa Rica, Portugal vs Holland or Aregntina vs Mexico Worst Player - Mark Van Bommel, Pauleta or De Rossi Most Annoying thing - All the diving and card waving by players. All the players should be booked for doing this My team of the tournament - Lehman (GK), Lahm, Cannavaro, Marquez, Grosso (DF), Hargreaves, Pirlo, Zidane, Maxi (MF) Robinho, Klose (ST) ^ ive just made that up now, so probably forgotten a few players who might have deserved to be in there |
