i agree with dan as far as what he said to you qu...i mean...i've been one of the few people who hasnt had his lips glued to your a$s for the last 2 years, i figure if i get the song i get it if i dont get it i dont...i mean sh!t it took me a long a$s time to get the uhh...rare....sh!t...
i think people are a little too crazy about tq's music...i consider myself one of the biggest tq fans along with 4 or 5 of you guys on this board...but being a tq fan doesnt mean you have to creme your pants everytime you hear a tq song or sh!t your pants if you dont get the tq album the day it comes out. i dont think you have to have the OG copy of every single album tq is on...i mean true if you're a real fan you will have OG copies of his solo albums...but sh!t im not gonna go buy the new big tymers cuz honestly...i hate those mf's and i wouldnt buy there album unless TQ actually was on every single song...and even then i may not buy it.
i think the biggest tq fans are the ones who are just that...a fan, people who promote him whether its through friends or through a website (like mauz, qu, me, dan, phil)...
the only problem i have with people is the same problem that we talked about like a year ago on gillians board...people who think they are bigger fans than others just because they have more tq sh!t or something...i dont think im any bigger of a fan than TKay just because i have sh!t he doesnt...lets face it...everyone here is for one reason...tq...now saying you're in love with him is a bit obsessive (maybe more than just a bit), but we are all tq fans hands down, nobody is a bigger fan than anyone else.
the other problem i have with this group of people (im not talking about this board alone but our board too) is the sharing thing...i mean c'mon...as i said before...we are all here for tq...why is it that we take so much pride in keeping songs from other people? i mean, i dont share sh!t either so this is kind of hipocritical, but i dont feel that its such a bad thing if someone shares a song with another tq fan...as long as its understood that that sh!t stays between those people. im not gonna give sh!t out because i have sh!t that i was asked not to give out...simple as that. i dont give the other sh!t out because most of it you can find on kazaa and i dont feel like wasting my time. but i dont think it was right that everyone jumped on Headbeaters a$s when he sent lil thug the demos to how can i be down and the grind...lil thug is a fan too...and while i know HB was told not to send them and its kind of the principle of the thing...i think sh!t should be shared atleast with the people who have been here long enough...i mean the OG people:
gillian, dan, phil, me, mauz, qu, tqlovababy, stunna, dmac, headbeater
and im sure im missing somebody (sorry to whoever i forgot)...
i'd like to hear qu's take on this stuff though because its mainly you who has been the reason we were able to get some of the stuff we have...

Im here to support TQ and hopefully his cd will drop in Jan or FEB and we will be able to watch him grow from there and make more music and more people to do trax with him. I barley post on the CMB boards due to all the hating on them.

I almost never post except for news. Repsonse are usually 'Thanks alot!' 'that's awesome' 'keep up the good work' etc. .... if you consider that a$s kissing than so be it...... Anyone who posts something gets that. As far as sharing music goes... If you stumble on say a credit card with A $100,000 dollars pre-paid on it. You know who it belongs to and you like that person alot, and you could either chose to do nothing, leave it be, and let that person keep that money on their account or share it with everyone else costing them $100,000. Which would you do?  ? Now look at your answer, and look at that question but replace the CARD with a SONG. I mean it's the same thing. You gain nothing by having that card (song) and keeping it to yourself, except the thrill of having it. My point is if you use the card it's worthless afterwards, if you release a song you're making it worthless afterwards. I realize some have the concept of well let's just share with one or two people we trust... well let me tell you I been in this game since 97. Anything you share with one person eventually turns around to EVERYONE having it. One person shares with a friend he trusts alot, he shares with one he trusts alot, that person does the same, and so on, and so on, and so on. Evertually everyone has whatever it was. Not to mention the fact if the person you trust befriends you, what they will do with what you gave them just to get back at you. I've never posted more than a small clip and now I dont even do that. Ive shared a couple things with a couple people and of course, the numbers have multiplied of who has those things. that's why i dont even mention sh!t anymore.  |

well i no that u have shared with a few people. and either they dont trust me or they just respect u and listen to what u have to say cuz they wont give me sh!t. but anyways. so i guess this means that you have other tq songs that u are not gonna tell us bout??
i dont understand. tq is not the biggest artist he doesnt have the largest fan base either. so if u have sumptin that might help him gain another fan y not share that. what good is it gonna do him if he made a song and only u and 2 others have it. and i understand that it might hurt him cuz he aint makein no money. but u need to do what u need to do to get people to hear u. y do u think 50 cent put out all those mix tapes. (not to make money) he did that sh!t to just get his sh!t out there.
so now he is gettin paid for those songs he did.

In only a 3 month time period i know who's got what and that wasnt your list...your list was mauz, dan, phil, HB...me, dmac, and gill got shafted...im not mad about it im just sayin that nothing has gotten out of the group i listed (except when HB gave lil thug those 2 demo's but that was like 6 months ago and a different story). and i mean...not even everyone in that list has everything...dmac still doesnt and i dont think gillian does either...im just sayin if you would just trust the 7 of us nothing would get out. |

My list was Mauz (cuz he's my partner) Dan (because i known him years and he ran the original board years back and i knew he wouldnt give nothin out). Phil (cuz he talked with us everyday and helped with the other site and he seemed good on his word since dan and mauz vouched[sp] for him) and Gillian (cuz she was cool and ran the other site/board and i didnt want her left out and because everyone vouched[sp] for her). those are all. Nobody got shafted, there wasnt anything personal. i gave the people i knew and that was it. I didnt give to HB, dmac or you simply becuase i hardly even spoke to you and didnt know you guys. I still know of three people not mentioned.. the number went from 4 to 10. I mean i gave all kinds of sh!t to that circle and said spread it around to who you think deserves it. some of the demos, all the instrumentals, videos, etc. Then I gave those exclusives to those 4 and tagged them all differently (So i would know if one ever got leaked who did it) and asked that those didnt get spread around. The sh!ts still pretty much under wraps but im curious to see if someone slipped... I figure sometime in a year or so there will be a better site come along or maybe i will just be too busy with my own life and someone else will take over. I figure ill dump everything I have on to them and... pa$s on the torch i guess. I did this all for a reason. I gave what I gave to who I gave. I made sure I could tell who did what. Im kind of curious as to how it will all end and when. |
