Yeah, ok, this topic was closed a while ago, i know, but the board is dying (yet again), so i'm bored!
About Tkay's and mauz's points, yeah, you shouldn't tell her she's overweight (or even that she needs to lose any now matter her size) because it's not cool, she deserves to kick your a$s, girls are sensitive about weight so it needs to be approached the right way! Instead of saying, "you need to do something active, like walk or go the gym" try saying "I'm going the gym later, would you like to come?" Do something with her that she'll think is for you, and in all fairness, us men need it too! That way, you're looking out for her without letting her know you think she needs it! Or, without even doing anything active, go shopping one week (because, to be fair, it is mostly the women who do the shopping for a household, that's just how it is)! Anyway, the point of doing the shopping instead is that you can buy all healthy food and low-fat milk and stuff, it'll really be for her, but you can tell her you want to look after yourself then ask her to support you, she's not going to say no if it's for you, but she'll be offended if you bought it and said it was for her! And with both doing the shopping and doing something active, don't do it only if you think she'll look better, that's just being a prick, do it because you care and want her to be healthy and feel good!
