Tq singing a John Lennon song like "watching the wheels go round" could be done in an aggressive manner (compared to original) even edited to make references to some of the stuff he says in his posting we reply too here. A song like "woman" would also go well with the ladies i suspect. As for a Phil collins song "both sides of the story", its not very well known but focuses on sectarian violence in Ireland. Hope TQ is not laughing at these ideas. Sure what ever he gets to us will be quality. TQ is Glasgow this year?? Really? ?

i don't get why TQ keeps making songs for the ladies, i don't always like them, lmao!! i've been a fan since the beginning and love they never saw me coming album, i'd prefer that to 'songs for the ladies'... TQ came to glasgow's corinthian bar on saturday 30th may. i remember it well, scottish cup final in the afternoon, got sunburnt, saw TQ at night, with my face bright red in the picture of us, lmao!! cos it was his birthday week, we sang happy birthday to him, and a birthday cake with candles appeared from somewhere!! plus i nicked all the promo posters from outside the bar ;D ;D also, i don't see anything directly relating to the violence in ireland, regarding that song, but 'We Wait and We Wonder' is about violence and terrorism in Britain as a whole. you thinking of the right song?

Dam had no idea he was in Scotland, was it promoted out side of Glasgow?? i'm only a couple of hours away up the road.
As for the Phil Collins song not sure if i'm wrong but the lyrics from both sides include:
(though we hate to admit it, there are always two sides to every story) - tag line
Here we are all gathered in what seems to be the centre of the storm neighbours once friendly now stand each side of the line that has been drawn they've been fighting here for years, but now there's killing on the streets while small coffins are lined up sadly, now united in defeat
We always need to hear both sides of the story
And the lights are all on, the world is watching now people looking for truth, we must not fail them now be sure, before we close our eyes don't walk away from here 'til you see both sides No no no no no no
White man turns the corner, finds himself within a different world ghetto kid grabs his shoulder, throws him up against the wall he says "would you respect me if I didn't have this gun 'cos without it, I don't get it, and that's why I carry one"

not sure if it was promoted outwith glasgow, probably not. i'm not in glasgow and heard about it here, and he mentioned it on his facebook, too.
i thought that song was about New York, lol, cos the video is set there.
but i guess the song lyrics can be interpreted for any bad situation in a city.

erm, i don't think so!! cos if we really want to go into club histories, liverpool probably aren't the best. man utd wouldn't be either. although right now, man utd are giving liverpool a run for their money, and will no doubt overtake them as the better team. we've equalled league wins, and technically bettered liverpool, as you've NEVER won the premier league... we need a couple more european cups, and we're well on our way to being the better team. but hey, rangers beats both, we've won the league 52 times, lmao!!! ;D Scottish league is easy, none of the teams would survive including Rangers & Celtic! Oh & havnt Liverpool beaten Utd the last 3 TIMES we've played!!! ;D Its all a good bit of banter

Scottish league is easy, none of the teams would survive including Rangers & Celtic! in the english prem? i think they would. once they got the money from being there, plenty of players would want to play for them. there's something special about an old firm game! ;D Oh & havnt Liverpool beaten Utd the last 3 TIMES we've played!!! ;D yeah, but haven't we won the league the last 3 TIMES? ;D Its all a good bit of banter it is indeed ahem, on topic... yeah i do think it'll be weird not having Kind of Blue on the album, but it's not strange calling the album that, if the songs not on it. after all, the second coming and gemini don't have songs named after them...

I think the only thing that makes it seem a bit wierd is the fact we know there is a title track somewhere, which we have heard!!! There was a Gemini intro track if that counts, but your right with the Second Coming, should have been called 'Come Again'!!! ;D

/me plays TQ-Gemini-2009/08-gemini.mp3 pffft, i didn't count that, just like i didn't count the intro!! it's an interlude, not exactly a whole song!! but fine... the second coming doesn't have a titular song... ooooh, coming of age albums didn't have songs... lmao!!! like Tom said, it's not unusual!!! ;D

AHEM, the premier league is just the top division with a new name, but it stands as virtually the same competition, and although we (liverpool) appear to be completely out of the running, i doubt united will win it, or anything else this year, but we still have the Europa League, ha, DAMN Fiorentina and Lyon!!!

we're gonna win the carling cup again, lmao!! say whatever you want about the name change, liverpool still aren't going to come close to winning it in the next couple of years. i said on saturday night that i'd have sacked benitez before i'd have sacked mark hughes... but again, just cos you spend £120m on some players, doesn't mean it will bring success, like what man city expected, so i can kinda understand why they did sack him. i think sir alex and wenger are the only two managers who's jobs are safe if they get beat!!! my family are actually hoping unirea hump liverpool, due to the fact that rangers lost that 3rd place spot to them!!! would have been good if rangers had went through instead, would have been a great game (or 2) to see.
