Curious on others thoughts on the snippets. It's only 4 songs but I didn't expect to hear so much production and synths especially given Hotel California & California Dreamin's light acoustic guitar beats and TQ's acknowledgment of doing more work with his "band."
I Wish and Right Here were my favorites. Didn't care much for the others. They all seem overproduced with beats similar to Electronic and In My Lap.
I'm a huge fan of TQ's vocals and they're taking a backseat with all the added beats (some unnecessary IMO). Just trying to give my honest two cents. Already pre-ordered the album so i'm hoping the other 9 or so tracks include some of that soulful TQ.
Thoughts?

Really excited about finally getting this album! Have been listening a lot to the snippets already and generally I think they're great. The production is good and T can still hit the same notes he always could.
I know it's early days but my only gripe would be that T's lyrics don't seem to have the same edge they used to? I thought this about California Dreamin' as well. Also, these tracks all sound like they could've belonged on 'Kind of Blue' (which is no bad thing) so will do little to convert anyone who isn't feeling T's music already.
Otherwise - bring it on - I'm loving 'Stars' and 'I Wish' is definitely a banger!

Just listened to the previews for the 2nd (and last) time. It all sounds similar to KoB, which is a good thing. We'll see what the album has to offer... I always find it hard to judge by listening to a few snippets. Give me the full album and I'll give my opinion. Curious on others thoughts on the snippets. Ha, I was surprised about that as well. These are just 5 songs we've gotten a preview of though. KoB had 19 songs. Who knows there'll be 14 light acoustic songs on Legendary  I know it's early days but my only gripe would be that T's lyrics don't seem to have the same edge they used to? The lyrics in his songs today aren't written by a teenager. Over the years TQ has improved lyrically. Not counting the 'love songs', KoB was lyrically TQ's best album to date, I think. |

I think I must have been the first person in the UK to preorder it. Ordered and paid for by 9:00am. I want the limited edition CD and hope it lives up to my expectation. Is anyone aware of TQ doing a tour to celebrate the release of the album?

Star sounds sick. I don't like the others much because they have dance beats. Definitely for the ladies and gays.

I haven't ordered it because I'm moving to Florida in 2 weeks and I don't know my new address until the day I get there ha. I should be able to get it then but it's pushing it close to get it early.
