I'm guessing part of the negotiated settlement from the lawsuit with The Eagles was that he could include the song but could not list it as a track. From my experience, most bonus tracks are listed individually--not grouped together as 3 songs...one after the other. Purely speculation but the circumstancial evidence at least somewhat supports this.
I wasn't completely excited about the album after hearing some of the tracks but after a few listens, it's growing on me. It reminds me a good bit of Listen in which there were a few incredible tracks and the rest average or throw-aways. (Listen, Right On, Gone But Not Forgotten, Fly) = (Legendary, I Wish, California Dreamin, Good Love). In My Eyes and Star are above average in my opinion but the rest are just average. I feel like the lyrics and songwriting just weren't there save some of the top tracks I mentioned above. The pa$sion in TQ's voice that we have been accustomed to hearing was only apparent in a few tracks. I would have loved to have "Early This Morning" on the album as I feel that track was better than at least 10 tracks although I'm not sure it's sound would have fit the album. Overall--a decent album. Would definitely put it after TNSMC and KOB on the ranking list.
