I just want to know everyones point of view on this, i know its not cool to be downloading music, and burning it. I have more respect than that for TQ, i went out and bought tsc and tnsmc, and will by gemini. But i have never wanted to open the cds since i bought them, because i dont want to fu?k em up. So all the songs from his cds i downloaded and burnt. Only after purchasing his cd's.. Is this ok to you all?
just curious what everyone thinks.

i don't think it's illegal to make a backup copy, so long as you OWN the cd/game etc... however, i played tnsmc to death and bought a new copy  but i've downloaded songs, and i think most people have. i downloaded all the TQ songs i couldn't get, like for all my hustlers, day in the life, you know all the non album ones, a couple of years ago, but since then i've bought all the original albums/soundtracks and all that.  i just got big money heavyweights yesterday, it finally arrived! but i'd already d/l it and of course, Gemini will become part of my cd collection (and probably get worn to death ;D) on the day of it's release! obviously there are a few songs that i've got that aren't available to buy, but that's not my fault! if they were available to vuy, i'd buy them. i'm a bit confused why you d/l the tnsmc and tsc songs when you could have just copied the CD's you bought... it's what i would have done!  |

Mhhh I think I did it in the way like the others. OK I don´t have all TQ songs cause that´s a lil bit to expencive for a lil student, I bouth his two albums, all singles and some other albums where he´s on.

I agree with tqfan, if you own the copy, than it's okay to burn a copy. I have original copies of TNSMC and TSC. I only burn stuff that I can't get ahold of.

I always buy the cd's I like (including TQ offcourse) I only copy remixes/songs wich are not available on retail cd's.
And I copy cd's I would never had bought anyway. When there is only one song on the whole album I like, and a friend has that cd I will copy it.
