I see the points here, but keep one thing in mind...
It is not all that easy in the states to find everything TQ either. Sure, I can run downtown and pick up a TNSMC cd, but that's the extent of it. All other merchandise I have had to order online, which puts me in the same boat as my EU boys over there.
Also, as far as buying music via download, I have nothing against it (but why would I, being where I am). I like to have a hard copy too, so I simply burn the songs onto a cd after purchase, and use an image of the actual cd to make a custom label. Booklets can also be downloaded online and printed yourself... problem solved.
None of this is TQ's doin, so lay off. Why not use ebay, a lot of stuff on there uses worldwide shipping... or you could just ask one of us here in the US nicely and I am sure we would help out... we are all fans here, right? Let's find a solution together instead of complaining.

One more thing here...
As far as the US getting all the love... TSC wasn't even released in the US. I had to import it.
If you want his new cd, or anything else that badly, just let me know. I will purchase what you need and figure out a way to get it to you. If it's an actual cd you want, I will mail it. If digital downloads are ok (if you had the capability of getting them), pm me and I purchase them for you, and get you pa$swords to download them yourself. Or I will purchase them and email them to you, for those of you with high-speed.
There's always a way. Let's just end this argument.

I feel u....... I am fine with waitin cuz like u said it'll be worth it! When have u EVER been wrong about that?!?! To those International fans: Calm down, im sure if ya'll dont get it when we do then ya'll can best believe it'll come right after or right before. If TQ said EVERYONE then trust him on that! Be on his side through thick and thin...... Not when he drops an album but forget about him when he's low key! It dont work like that! Dont be "fed up" with him be fed up with these politics cuz that's the main reason why things dont go the way they supossed too! The game is crazy! Patience is a virtue AND a choice!!! Remember that! SHOCKED! is not the word i used when i loaded up thugpoetry.com and saw that the album had been pushed back. i honestly dont know if this is how it is with every artist becuase TQ is the only person that i care enough about to track his album progress, but man does he drive me crazy. TQ, i love you man but i almost wish you wouldnt tell me when you think the album is coming out. you dont get a lot of love from promotions anyway and its us hardcore that buy your albums. just let us know one day, Hey theres a new album, go get that....hahahaha
anyway, i will resume paitentially waiting for your new album while feeding my addiction through the "new music tuesday" songs that werent quite good enough for an album but will do in a pinch.
keep it real TQ, you the man......and even though im a hater, i will wait as long as it takes for the next album.

The bad news continues... Sorry but I can't seem to get in a situation that would get u guys physical CD's ON TIME AND pay for my mortgages, Taxes, Gas, Granny's hospital bills, Shaun & Ty's food/roofs/clothing, Mom's crib, Pops crib, Office rent, payroll, travel expenses, groceries, insurance, Hurricane damages (I got a 2nd crib in Alabama right on the water so every year a storm comes and fu?ks it up...LOL) Christmas/Birthday presents for everyone (Remember Granny had 24 kids... and all them had kids... and all them got kids etc...lol), and most of all MAKING NEW ALBUMS!!!! (I prolly left out about a BILLION other things that I have to PAY for...) At least, not at the moment... Who knows what will happen in the future. But some of u guys are right and I'm tired of having egg on my face... I won't be giving any dates for new releases in the future. Not from my mouth at least. U think ur frustrated? U oughta see ur boy in label meetings... U oughta see how many times I reference this site and "My Fans". Believe me I'm trying, but this business is real wack right now... I've found a way to get the music to everybody at the same time from here on out, but it will definitely be online. The physical CD u'll have to buy from me and they will be expensive. I have to cover overseas shipping and tax. I'm sorry but this is how my family eats. This is my job. As I've told u guys b4, I'm NEVER getting fu?ked over by another company again. I'm gonna take it one step further... After this deal is up, I'll prolly NEVER do another one... I just don't need it. Why give up a percentage when at the end of the day u guys still aren't satisfied? U STILL can't get the record!!!! What's the point? I think I can do a better job all by myself... I'm gonna try to start doing a lot more live shows in the future and I'll be sure to have CD's with me so u guys can buy them there at reasonable prices. Hopefully I don't lose too many fans, but if I do I just wanna say thanx 4 riding with me this long!!! I love all of u!!!!

yeah it's frustrating, yeah it sucks.. but there are worse things in life than this.... some little birdie recently told me that you should be happy with where you are and what you're doing, because there are always people and things that are doing worse..it was an intelligent thing to say by this little birdie.. but it was right...
so live by that too...it can always be worse!
you're doing fine.. you still got plenty of fans all over the world, and like i said.. the real true fans will stick with you through the good and the bad times...

Hey, you won't hear me complaining if you're releasing more than one album a year as long as they're quality albums. And so far the (solo) songs that I don't like from you have only been the type of songs that were meant to appeal to a bigger audience, so I'm not worried  I wish there were more ways to pay for (net exclusive) mp3 releases though. I had no way to pay for "Gemini" and those bonus tracks of "The Second Coming" for example. If I understand what you said above and you stick to it, then hard copies of your albums won't be available on Amazon.com right? |
