Aiight so I got some bad news... Well, bad for u guys and not so much for me...LOL! Anyway The release date for "Paradise" has been pushed back to April 1st. I promise it won't be an April Fool's prank... LOL! After meeting with my record company this morning, this is the best decision for this project. I'm an independent artist and my primary goal has to be making sure that this album is available to EVERYONE who wants to buy it. If my distributor needs more time to make sure that happens then its in my best interest to let them have the time. I hope u guys can understand that... I know u've been waiting for a while now, but I a$sure u that this album will be well worth the wait! Plus it'll only be a month and a half more... It's just the nature of this business. I don't wanna have u guys mad at me cuz u can't find my record, ya know? Been there. Done that. Not fun. Don't worry tho! Ya boy gotcha! I'm gonna release some ringtones and videoclips from the album in the weeks leading up to the release right here on myspace so that u guys aren't left empty handed. Plus I'll let yall hear a couple of records... deal? U don't hate me do u? I hope not. It's the best decision yall... I actually feel a lot better about it! Holla if u feel me! 4give me if u don't...
The new Album "Paradise" will be in stores and online April 1st, 2008!!!! Featuring Krayzie Bone, B.G., Jagged Edge, The DBoys and more!!!!!!! TELL EVERYBODY!!!!!!

Look Mr Quaites, I know I'm just a guy called KILLA CAM on a message board, but please listen.
You know your first album, "They Never Saw Me Coming", from 1998? You don't understand how much this means to some people. It is a masterpiece, and it's not because you are TQ or because you are famous. I was 10 years old for ****'s sake, I didn't care about fame or any of that sh**. I just cared about the Change intro to Darlin Mary to Better Days which let me know the harsh realities of your life, but also warmed my heart. This is the best R&B album ever and I think deep down you know this too. You know it. It's no opinion, it's a fact. So all I can ask is please, please, please, one day, if something bad happens to you to give you experiences that led to songs like Remember Melinda, please share your brilliance and make songs as good as the one on your first album, so we can all support you and share things with you, as we appreciate your great gift of song.
Best Wishes,
KILLA CAM.

Maaaan some of you are acting like if its not pressed on a cd you can hold in your hands then it doesnt exist...
The album is being released worldwide via Digital Download. Some sites are restricted but there will be a few anyone can buy off of. The album will only be distributed to major cities and stores in the United states.. Most USA customers will have to buy the CD online or Digital Download also.
Independent artists are moving more to the internet to release/sell all their music due to the labels not paying them sh!t. You're going to have to live with it because it's the way of the future. Within the next 10 years you will hardly see any cd's distributed and sold in stores on a cd in America. Everything is going to be mp3 or mp4. In the USA our bank cards are credit cards, meaning if you have a bank account, you have a credit card. Everything is based around a credit score and credit cards.
Microsoft, Apple and Sony are pushing digital downloads very hard over the next few years with Itunes, Playstation, Xbox and Zune Marketplace.
He did not know when he set up Itunes and Snocap that they were USA only. It's not his fault no legit company offers international music purchases for labels based only in the USA. It's all about Publishing, Licensing, International Copyright laws, Currency exchange rates and expidation laws. He didn't say "hey, limit this to USA only" It's not like he can just upload the song to them and they sell it. it doesnt work like that. He's trying to find a service that offers it to everyone. Unfortunetly I dont even know of any. I'm sure he will figure something out soon.
As far as the album being released overseas... on a pressed cd. No. It wont even make it to half the shops in the United States, so no, it wnt make it overseas at first. Maybe later like Listen. Listen didnt make it to half the shops in the united states or UK either. The main reason it wont be released at the same time is because he wont get the big radio, MTV, BET exposure so he will have to grind 5 times as hard as a normal artist promotting. He cant be in very country at once promoting. One at a time.

True fans are supporting TQ regardless of how long it takes to get it... Like absinthe said its not like TQ does this on purpose, its just the way things are set up

First of all, i'd like to say hi to ev'rybody i'd forgotten about, it's been a while, too long a while, i thought i didn't miss much that it's been dead, and many parts have, but i came across this! Dunno if i'm back for good or just this post, but i'll be around anyway! Secondly, i'm gonna agree with tqfan, on the point that ev'rything is only available in the US, it sucks for us European fans, as i'm sure it does for Aussie's and, well, ev'ry non-American, but as Qu said, that's not T's fault, we can't turn on a man because where we live having bad distribution, publishing, or whatever! Whether T likes us European fans or not, and i'm sure he does because we've been down for him since TNSMC, i'm sure he's doing his best, because at the end of the day, it's his livelihood, the more fans and sales the better, so we're not being excluded by choice! Yeah, it sucks, but deal with it and make friends with an american who can mail you the songs, then mail T a business cheque if it makes you happy! Or sit tight and wait, your choice! Thirdly, and correct me if i'm wrong, but was this album not supposed to be a European album, presumably because of what happened with listen?! All them months ago when the album was supposed to be released, and then pushed back, and again, and again, was it not a European album to begin with? That is the reason i'd feel screwed, the fact that we were told it was for us, then it was taken away, and we're now told we MIGHT get it! The simple fact is for most people, if it's not pressed on a cd and held in your hands, it may aswell not be real, because it's the artwork on the cd, the case to hold it in, the pictures of the artist, the songwords that are often printed in the booklet and the thanks at the end, that's usually just generally "to all my fans" but ev'ry fan looks at it and thinks, he's thanking ME! That's been taken away from all the european fans who've stuck through so much bullsh!t! And it is ridiculous from our perspective, but i don't blame T, as Qu said, it's publishing, distribution and all that! But the promise and the dream of the new album being released in european stores is quite simple, GONE

I don't know whether I'm with Qu or with Gillian here. I understand that TQ tries to make the most money he can with the best deal, but my thing is (and that counts for other artists besides TQ as well) that I want to go out and buy a cd in a store. If I really can't get it in a store here, I will get my hands on a hard copy anyway... but this whole situation right here will also make it harder to get cd singles and vynils. As a collector I'm not very pleased, so to say... and like Shero said: this album was going to be the EU album in the first place and now I'm pretty sure it'll be quite hard to find in my country.
As far as the mp3 downloads of Paradise go... Why would you pay for an mp3 that you can download for free anyway? This goes for any artist: If I want to pay for the songs I will buy them pressed on cd and with a booklet. It's cheaper anyway. If I could have I would have bought the clean and dirty version of the single to support TQ, but I am not going to pay for mp3s of the album.
Also, I don't blame TQ for the bs services of Snocap and iTunes, but that doesn't make it right that only U.S. residents can buy that music! I mean, what the heck? I have seen quite a few independant artists on myspace that sell songs exclusively through snocap.com. I would actually pay for that music if I think it's worth buying.
