it all depends on whether T wants money or recognition! I wouldn't blame him for either choice! Either way i'll make sure i get the album!

Go Independent. You'd have all control and be so much happier.

hey man, i agree with some of these dudes and think you should go with a major company. ive been a faithful listener since They Never Saw Me Coming. I always turn on your music when im with my buddies and they dont know who you are, but every time theyre like 'damn that sh!t is hot'. It just shows how much bigger your fan base could be if you only were more out there. Everyone thats listened to your music with me around thinks you should be takin the number one spot man! Whichever one you choose though, we always love ya man

Burdman is right, as i'm sure everyone will agree, when people hear T and don't know who he is, they do still like his music! So if he was known, his fanbase would grow! The advantage of a major label!

It's really difficult - sometimes I get sick of all the people round here saying "where did TQ go after westside", when you in fact made 2 brilliant albums after TNSMC. Most people aren't aware of the necessity of a major label for ma$s appeal and distribution, so they a$sume you're gone if they don't see you anymore on the T.V., because Westside/Bye bye baby/Better Days was all over it. Whatever their music tastes people were really feelin your first album, it's just unfortunate that the ma$ses, who are the ones to get you big sales, don't realise the situation, and they can't be reached by an independent album like Listen. This is why I think you should go for a major label, come back strong and big, but still not forgetting the realness of your music, and make your money on the big international tours.
I am afraid with a major label however that you might be forced to make pop/radio friendly singles, I mean look at what Busta Rhymes is doin with Kelis and will i am and sh!t, that sh!t's just not right. I really thought you were gone when Keep It On the Low came out. Then I suddenly came on thugpoetry and there was Right On. You may have had far smaller sales and fanbase due to the independent label, but ma$s popularity is what you sacrificed for leaving Cash Money and you are the fu?king man for doing it. Hurry up with this music.
